Shade & Louver Shutter Warranty
We warranty any damage to your shutter panels for the duration of ownership. This warranty stands out from most warranties seen in the marketplace and is a direct result of our fabrication methods and local manufacturing. This further secures your investment in shutters and makes them a sound choice in homes with energetic young children. There are a few different options for repair:
factory repair
For factory repair, simply remove the panel from the frame hinges and bring it into the local factory. We will schedule a time for customer pick-up when the repair is complete. Shade & Louver will cover all costs for repair with this method.
On-site Repair
In some instances, we can repair your shutters on-site. Shade & Louver will cover the cost for the components and the client will only be charged an on-site repair fee.
Diy repair
If you prefer to perform small fixes yourself, we can ship any pieces or parts directly to your home and guide you through the repair. In this case, Shade & Louver will cover the cost for the components and the client need only pay postage.
In addition to the repairs, our painted solid poly is warrantied for a lifetime against fading, warping, and cracking.
Motor Replacement Warranty
Shade & Louver is proud to favor Celtic Motors from Vertilux. Celtic motors come with a five year warranty; they will be replaced if they fail within that time frame. The client will be responsible for the labor charges. If a client prefers the DIY route, the Shade & Louver team will provide guidance and support for replacing the motor on your own. After the five year period is up, a replacement motor will only cost $99 if one of Vertilux’s Celtic motors fails.
Fabric Warranties
Fabric warranties vary among manufacturers that we carry. The warranties cover colorfastness and performance. Vertilux fabrics come with a standard ten year indoor warranty; they also have many fabrics that are warrantied for five years in outdoor settings. After the warranty period ends, you can buy new fabric for your shades at 25% off of the current cost of the finished goods and we will handle the labor.
Installation Warranty
At Shade & Louver we warranty our installations and will return to correct any errors for up to a year after the initial installation without any additional charges. We also ensure that the measure and fit for your window coverings will be accurate and will replace items that have been made in error.
Duration & Warranty Registration
There is no need to register your warranties with Shade & Louver. All of our warranties are complimentary. We retain your measurements, selections, and job data internally. As long as the original purchaser resides in the home, the warranties stand as listed above. Commercial warranties vary per product.
